Stress

When we experience stress that overwhelms the system, be it physical, emotional, mental or chemical; the brain, (through the neural network) redirects the trauma and stores it within the tissues of the body. If unresolved, the body then takes on defense posture and physiology; an effective short term survival strategy with destructive long term consequences. Thus begins the cycle of adaptations resulting in degeneration over time, poor adaptability to stress, less optimal lifestyle choices and decreased overall wellness and life enjoyment. Life becomes more about survival than growth and evolution.

Until the nervous system learns to perceive safety, it will continue to function from a state of protection and survival. Through drawing on the inherent energetic resources, we coach the nervous system toward the development of new sustainable strategies resulting in integration of old traumas.
